Ear candling with face and neck lymphatic drainage massage (45 mins, $850)
Ear Candling is a gentle and non-invasive therapy dating back to 2500 B.C. The ancient cultures of the Mayan, Aztec, Tibetan, Chinese and Native Americans used some form of ear candling. Candles/cones are made of unbleached cotton or linen, dipped in paraffin or beeswax.
The spiral roll built into the candle creates a gentle downward flow of warm air and smoke, which is carried into the ear canal. The heat softens wax and debris. The gentle candle placement creates a counter-clockwise “vacuum” action which evaporates excess fluid and gently pulls the softened wax/debris out of the ear canal.
Ear Candling can help relieve sinusitis, allergy symptoms, muffled hearing, buildup of wax/debris and/or fluid in the ears and/or sinus, tinnitus, vertigo, balance.
During this treatment, you will enjoy a shoulder, neck and scalp massage to ease tension, and a face and neck lymphatic drainage massage. Lymphatic drainage helps release debris and fluid form the lymph nodes. This can help reduce fatigue, menstrual cramps, sinusitis, and hay fever allergies and also give you a slimmer more V shaped face. When one suffers from hay fever, the body’s immune system goes into high gear as it over reacts to pollen, mold spores or other foreign body invaders. The result is irritation and inflammation of the sinus region. Lymphatic drainage massage can relieve these hay fever symptoms. For those suffering from sinus infections, lymphatic drainage procedures can remove much of this congestive material from around the facial area. It allows the body’s own healing system to do what it is intended to do
